The Name Hat helps groups run a secret gift draw. By using it you agree to these terms.

Who can use it

Organizers sign in with Google. Guests join through a link from their organizer. You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, or have a parent's permission.

Organizers

• Only add people who expect to join your party.
• You are responsible for the event details you write and the link you share.
• Don't use the app for spam, ads, or anything illegal or hurtful.

Guests

• Only sign in as yourself, and keep your PIN private.
• Keep your pick secret and your wishlist kind.
• Links in wishlists go to other websites. We don't check or control them.

The draw

The draw is random and follows the organizer's rules. Nobody, including organizers, can see who drew whom in the app. Gifts, budgets and the party itself are between you and your group. We are not part of them.

Our service

The app is offered free and "as is". We try to keep it working but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or stop the service, and may remove content or accounts that break these rules.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for lost data, missed gifts, or disputes between people. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.
